Telephony Online is reporting that A&TT's CFO Rick Lindner said that they are currently pleased with bandwidth being delivered by VDSL and FTTN. He also stated that in the 2nd half of 2007 that the available bandwidth will increase 60-70%. Doing that math, a 65% increase on a 25meg line would be 16 megs. This would give the VDSL lines a sync rate of 41megs. That is enough for 3HD and 1 SD streams and 8meg internet connection. If this is all on one pair, this will be a significant increase in U-verse service capability.
