So, I am having an interesting issue with my U-Verse remote.  Every once in a while (every 2 days) my STB seems to stop responding to my remote.  The remote lights up as though it is sending signal, but the power light on the STB doesn't flash like it's receiving a signal.  I wait 5 minutes and it seems to fix itself.  Anyone else experienced this?  Also, noticed HD pixelation for the first time since install (February) watching Terminator: Sarah Connors Chronicles last night.  I was surprised by this.

I had the same happen on a STB right out of the box.  The box would stop responding to the remote after about 5 minutes of the box being turned on.  I tried the remote on the other boxes...worked fine, tried the other remotes on this box..no good.  They came out and replaced the box and it's been fine since.

I've had the exact same thing happen to one of my boxes. They swapped it and it's been fine since.

I have the same problem on my DVR box.  I also have a harmony remote that will not work during the periods the uverse remote isn't working.  Then 20 minutes later, they will start working again.  I have changed out the STB 3 times and the problem still persists.  Anyone have a solution?

Apparently the problem is cause by a build up of static electricity.  Unplug the STB, hold down the power button for 30 seconds and plug it back in.  It worked perfectly.

There are some new splitters being used that will help with the DB loss....this will help tremendously with the problems some of you guys are talking about.
