U-verse for small business is now available.  TV is currently not available with this package.  The prices are the same as business dsl, but you get the 1 meg upload.  The 10/1.5 package is $100/month. Expensive, but still much cheaper than a T1.

It will be interesting to find out what the distance limit to this service is.  If a 25/2 profile works at 3000 for video, I would think ATT should be able to provision a 10/1.5 line at much greater distances.

Not in Shelton, CT.  Or at least in the Scinto corporate park in Shelton.  Anyone have availability info or is this like the residential rollout and we just sit, wait and guess?

Lame... If they upgraded the 10/1.5 package to something a little more beefy, I'd switch over from residential to business tonight. However, it does compete with Comcast Business Cable Modem very well at 10/1 (with PowerBoost) for $150 / month.

The MAX Internet service (10Mbps/1.5Mbps) is a residential service.  Although it is fast enough to support a small business, the terms of service are that of a residential service.

The only problem with that is the 2wire residential gateway.  It won't sync @ 10Mbps.

uverse for business is not available in Wisconsin yet. I had a tech come out and he said our offices can get it, but it's not switched on here yet. I was rather let down by that as we have to pay for a $400 a month PRI (T1) and only get 1.5mb up and down and that's when the phones are not being used. He did tell me it should be here very soon though as he had the training on it. The industrial park we are in doesn't have any sort of cable lines, and no DSL is offered. AT&T could get many new clients for this very quickly if they turned it on today... Perhaps June 1st they will offer it.

Does anyone know when this service is coming to the Cleveland area, specifically the CO in Beachwood, OH ? (216-831-XXXX exchange)   I called ATT and they said service not available yet, and the CSR had no ETA on when it might be available.   We are moving offices next month and I would hate to order another expensive T1 for the new office if I can get 10/1.5 for $100/mo !

Also would like to know if static IP addresses are available with this.

no static IPs are available. I am in the same boat with our company. We are moving in a few weeks and got a PRI, but am dreading using that for bandwidth. A tech told me at first yes it's available, then said no it's not "switched on"

$100/mo is for the top 10M/1.5M tier.  Check the pricing page at http://smallbiz.att.com/businessuverse :

1.5/1 for $40
3.0/1 for $50
6.0/1 for $60
10.0/1.5 for $100

Note that they aren't screwing around with the upload speeds at the lower tiers like the consumer product (or the cableco's).   Also with standard DSL you are only going to get 6 Mbps max, and that's only if you're close to the CO and have good copper.   With the VRADs being positioned so much closer to the premises, it makes 10Mbps a reality for those of us too far from the CO for standard DSL.

For example my current office is served by ATT but we're so far from the CO that best we can do is 384K DSL.   However there's a VRAD about 500 feet up the street, so it would be fantastic to have that lit up and get 10Mbps capability.

A lot of office parks were never wired for cable, so that isn't an option for many businesses.   I called TWC to find out about their "business class" service at our new location and they wanted something like $500/mo and a 5 year contract for 4M/2M.   Not what I'd call a great deal, and they don't have a very good reputation around here either.

I see they want 70 for the 10/1.5 now......I had called to see if we could get it at our business, but it was not available. They did have a increase in our dsl speed available so we took that. Still, would like to have the u-verse for our shop....
