Just wanted ya'll to know I had my installation on Tuesday.  4 TV's, 2 phones and internet.  Went very smooth.  I had pre-wired Cat 5e.  Install took 6 hours including I&R having to put in a new drop.  So far service has been good.

I just had my install. It was a very pleasant and positive experience. It took about 4 hours, including pulling new coax, adding a line to a room that did not have one incoming, and pulling a fresh connection from the pole to the house.

I have standard tube televisions (2), but the picture quality is very impressive. I prefer TiVo to the included DVR--especially the way you can tell TV to record a program, and it will figure out when it airs and so forth.

The installer was professional and pleasant. And kind to my dog, which I really appreciated. He said Dec 20 for the total home DVR service. Which seemed pretty precise to me, but when it happens, it happens.

Oh, and I live in the Oak Forest/Fair Park area of town.

I had to call tech support today and while visiting with them asked about the THDVR in Little Rock.  She said the 'deadline' was Dec. 20 but it would start being rolled out to the Central Arkansas area Dec. 8 with completion scheduled for Dec. 19. Apparently it doesn't roll out to everyone in a particular market at the same time. (?)

I'm in Maumelle.
Hey redbaron,

I live in Maumelle but I called AT&T today and they said that the service is not available in my neighborhood yet. I live off of Odom in Maumelle Valley estates. I'm wondering how long it will be before we get it?

Hi horspwr,

We are in Maumelle Valley Estates also.  The only VRAD I know of is at the intersection of Maumelle Valley Dr and Scenic Valley Dr.  We had ours installed Sept 2 and all has gone well.  How far (roughly) are you from that interesection.  You might also check your ph# as well as your address online to see if you get different results.  Also, they do have some errors in their database according to some of the techs I've talked to in this area.  Also, the last tech I talked to told me they were working on getting the distance extended from 3000' to around 5000' sometime early next year.  Just remember that you hear a lot of rumors and I don't know if he knew what he was talking about or not.Huh  Good Luck.

Just a note, I am able to watch recorded shows on my DVR in my bedroom.   I live on Waterside in Maunmelle.  I checked it this morrning.  Not sure when they updated it, but looks like THDVR is here.  One thing I noticed that is different, when the TV is on and not the box, all I see now is a big ATT logo, before there was a moving u-verse logo.
