Funny thing last night, when the sirens went off, we turned on the TV downstairs which was on the same HD channel as the one upstairs (that we left on). Both played in HD but the system still says we are 1HD/3SD. My location is South Overland Park, KS.
You can watch the same HD channel on as many TVs as you'd like. |

It means that SOME people now have 2 HD streams; sounds like they're rolling it out SLOWLY to all other areas.  |

I'm scheduled for install on May 17th and asked the guy at the store when MI is getting 2HD. At first he didn't want ot say, but after I pressed him he said it would be August.

Why wait every 8 minutes to see the stupid Local On The 8's. When you can just go to your computer or download an application and see the weather in less than 8 minutes.

their might be 2 diffrent roll out dates, one for new cust and one for existing.
they might roll out dallas next mid this month, and might roll out san fran next month. maybe i dont know.

My service guy told me that they will be DE compressing the HD stream improve the quality of the picture in the next month or so. He said that there were just to many complaint. the compression will go from 10 to 12.
