I believe what would be most accurate would be: EITHER 2 HD/2 SD OR 1 HR/3 SD OR 0 HD/4 SD streams. Current U-Verse can handle the latter 2 options. The only thing "New" would be the ability to watch and/or record 2 DIFFERENT HD streams. 4 Total streams will still be the limit, unless I am mistaken.
As far as St Louis, does that include both sides of the River? I heard that the IL side/Metro East runs off of the St Louis U-Verse TV server, so probably then?

Will be released in St. Louis VHO on 4/30/08. OK, that's one city. How about a rollout list of cities would be nice since we've all waited so long.

It is the St. Louis VHO, so it will be St. Louis and surrounding areas. The other cities should be coming shortly. The only thing is I seen something along the lines of it possibly not changing automatically, so you may need to call in about it.

Even though I can't get U-verse yet, I'm glad to hear that St. Louis is finally getting the update. However, I don't think it's fair that we get it first, since many other people have been waiting a lot longer than "us."

I have no clue. The only info I really got was that it was being released in St. Louis VHO, then Atlanta VHO, then I think the Wallingford VHO. Anything after that, no idea... Even though I can't get U-verse yet, I'm glad to hear that St. Louis is finally getting the update. However, I don't think it's fair that we get it first, since many other people have been waiting a lot longer than "us."
Yeah, I think TX should be getting it first. lol

I think a divulgence of your information source would be appropriate.
Thanks!

I decided to post a link to this thread in both the IL and MO state boards. Figured the consumers there might have an interest in this discussion No update on the Chicagoland market then, ehh?

As an AT&T employee not associated with the Uverse folks, I can say what I heard today. They had the Atlanta launch "event" today and said second HD stream in 3Q08. WHDVR would be here by the end of the year. Hopefully both are earlier, as Infamshxr indicates...

I'm a little confused about your statement. Is this specific to Atlanta for the 2nd HD in 3QTR. 2008? Or nationwide release by 3rdQTR?

I am hoping that 2HD being released I'm hoping they are releasing it nationwide even though they are not saying. They are just saying one city to surprise everyone to be that is has been released everywhere this is what I'm hoping for.

Why wait every 8 minutes to see the stupid Local On The 8's. When you can just go to your computer or download an application and see the weather in less than 8 minutes.
