The Uverse man! I was on my way out, but i gave him my address and told him to stop by. I hope he does or I will have to go find him!

Also...
I passed by a couple more guys on Oak Bluff in Lakewood Forest. They said they were doing an install but it wasnt going very well!

I will keep you guys updated.

Koolkid- email me at wreed@reedtech.net. I want to see if you can figure out how to multiplex my TWC RR internet and Uverse. I already have a Cisco 2600 XM series router ready to go.

I hope the Uverse man came by your house. I will be real interested in your install and quality issues.

while a Cisco router can be used in a failover/load balancing function...to really do it right requires a pretty advanced knowledge base of policy routing.  I've used Peplink boxes with good success in such scenarios to greatly simplify installation and ongoing maintenance (http://www.peplink.com/).  Take a look.  There are a hundred other like-minded projects and products (both commercial and open source), but I can vouch for the ease of use and functionality of this one.
